Pull the wall thermostat housing off of its wall mount plate.
Wall mounted thermostat dial seems loose.
If everything looks ok then check the battery in your thermostat if it is a digital model.
The other day i noticed that my 2nd gen nest thermostat is coming loose from the wall mount.
